Texas Rangers defeated Kansas City Royals 12-3 at Surprise Stadium. Texas Rangers kept Kansas City Royals at arm's length after building control of the game. Texas Rangers did enough late to separate from Kansas City Royals. No single box-score line separated clearly from the rest. The result closed out the matchup at Surprise Stadium in front of 8,313 fans with TEX adding a win and KC taking the loss.
