Vanderbilt Commodores held off Tennessee Volunteers 86-82 at Food City Center. Vanderbilt Commodores kept Tennessee Volunteers at arm's length after building control of the game. Vanderbilt Commodores did enough late to separate from Tennessee Volunteers. Tyler Tanner led the box score for VAN with 25 in Points. The result closed out the matchup at Food City Center in front of 19,654 fans with VAN adding a win and TENN taking the loss.
